For those of you who are in receipt of certain benefits, there are grants available for further improvements including for: gas, electric and central heating systems; draughtproofing around doors, windows, letterboxes etc; hot water tank insulation; and converting an open fire to a glass-fronted fire. They will cover improvements costing up to £2700.
